Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure.

On August 4, 2026, Sonoco Products Company (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing, among other things, an update to the organizational structure of its Global Consumer Packaging businesses and related leadership transitions. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
