Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On September 23, 2026, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of FactSet Research Systems Inc. (“FactSet” or the “Company”) appointed Marcel Prins a director of the Company.

There are no arrangements or understandings between Mr. Prins and any other persons pursuant to which Mr. Prins was selected as director. Mr. Prins is not a party to any related party transaction, or proposed transaction, required to be disclosed pursuant to Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K. As a non-employee director, Mr. Prins will participate in the Company’s existing director compensation program, the terms of which are described in the Company’s Proxy Statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on October 27, 2025.
