Non-GAAP Financial Matters 3 This presentation contains references to certain financial measures including Baseline O&M and Core Earnings per share (“Core EPS”) as “non-GAAP financial measures,” which are not calculated in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) and exclude the impact of “special items,” from EPS attributable to FirstEnergy Corp. for Core EPS.
