On March 4, 2026, FreightCar America, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the date of the annual general meeting of the Company (the “AGM”) has been set for April 10, 2026 at 10:00 Central Time and the record date for the AGM will be the close of business on February 10, 2026. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
