On August 6, 2026, FS KKR Capital Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) providing an overview of its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

A copy of the Press Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

In the Press Release, the Company announced a cash distribution for shares of the Company’s common stock totaling $0.44 per share, which will be paid on or about October 2, 2026 to common stockholders of record as of the close of business on September 16, 2026.

The Company will make available under the “Events & Presentations” page within the “For Investors” section of the Company’s website (www.fskkrcapitalcorp.com) a presentation containing financial and operating information in advance of its previously announced August 6, 2026 conference call.
