Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On January 6, 2026, Alkermes plc (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the grant of Breakthrough Therapy designation to alixorexton, as described in Item 8.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K. A copy of the related press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

On January 6, 2026, the Company announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted Breakthrough Therapy designation to alixorexton for the treatment of narcolepsy type 1.
