EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA In addition to total revenue, net income (loss) and other results under GAAP, we utilize non-GAAP calculations of earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (“EBITDA”) and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (“Adjusted EBITDA”). EBITDA is defined as net income (loss), excluding (i) convertible notes, derivative liability, and investment fair value adjustments, (ii) gain and loss on settlement of convertible notes and derivative liability, (iii) provision for (benefit from) income taxes, (iv) depreciation and amortization and (v) other income, net.
