Vicor said its lead wafer-scale customer was ramping Gen 4 through 2026 and would begin transitioning to Gen 5 in 2H26. Cerebras introduced CS-4 in August 2026 with power conversion only 0.5 mm from the processor and approximately 2× the delivered power. The architecture and timing make the mapping highly probable, but neither company has explicitly confirmed “CS-4 uses Vicor Gen-5.”
